Provenance

Probably donated to the church by Ferdinand van Boisschot, baron of Zaventem, 1621 (?);
temporarily accommodated in the residence of Baron von Boisschot in Brussels during the military campaigns of Louis XIV, around 1672;
on the orders of the French government removed from the church and taken to Paris, August 1794;
exhibited in the Muséum Central in the Louvre, Paris;
repatriated, 1815 and returned to the church, 1816.
