Charles by the grace of God Kinge of England Scotland France and Ireland defender of the Faith to the Treasurer and Undertreasurer of our Exchequer for the tyme being greeting, Wee doe hereby will and comaund you out of our Treasure remayning in the Receipt of our said Exchequer to pay or cause to be paid an Allowance of Fifteene shillings by the day for the dyett and lodging of Signior Anthonio Van Dike and his servants the same to begin from the first day of Aprill last past to continue dureing the said Van Dikes residence here The allowance aforesaid to be advanced Monethely unto the said Edward Norgate or his Assignes without any accompt imprest or other Charge to be sett upon him or them for the same or any parte thereof And these our letters shalbe sufficient warrant and discharge in this behalfe Given under our Privy Seale at our Palace of Westminster the One and Twentyeth of May in the Eight year of our Raigne
