A new date for Anthony van Dyck’s free mastership

The February 2023 issue of The Burlington Magazine (www.burlington.org.uk) included an article by JVDPPP team member Justin Davies that presented new findings indicating Anthony van Dyck became a free master four months earlier than was previously believed: on St. Luke’s Day, 18th October 1617.
